2012 - Present Formed M&D to bring new products to market after partnering with Barbara Corcoran from the Shark Tank in the shows first season to help her Entrepreneurs build their retaildistribution strategy to drive consumer awareness and sales revenue. Shark Tank entrepreneur successes include national roll-outs at Bed Bath, Costco, Kroger, Petsmart, Safeway, Sam’s, Target, and Wal-mart among others.
Also partnered with ATA Retail Services, the largest general merchandise impulse service provider in the U.S., primarily to national grocery and drug retailers. Responsible for all business development for both domestic and international expansion that has resulted in the addition of the largest grocery chains in Canada and significant expansion in the U.S.

Caity comes to MDI with over 15 years of broad industry experience. Having successfully managed Human Resources, and Business Operations for a variety of companies ranging from banking to Consumer Electronics, Caity developed the critical knowledge and business acumen of a true leader. Since joining MDI, Caity has been applying these traits to our strategic consulting model and has been instrumental in the successful placement of our clients at nearly all the major retailers (QVC, Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, Staples, Amazon, Costco, Sam’s Club, Petsmart, Macy’s and Target.) Moving forward, Caity will continue to be a pivotal member of our executive team and will drive new initiatives in the fast paced startup entrepreneurial community.

In Q4 of 2015, MDI is launching the Orbi, a children’s “safety” micro-cell phone/tracker. My Orbi is a revolutionary micro cell phone/tracker for children ages 3-11, the one “unconnected” segment of society. Parents can now call or text their children anytime, anywhere and know their exact current and past locations. Children can also now call or text their parents anytime. Because parents have been reluctant to provide their children with smartphones before age 11 due to the social impact and unfettered internet access, a miniaturized Orbi “feature phone” is the perfect solution. The Orbi comes with a mini carabineer and leash but it also snaps into a wristband “ring” as a wearable.
In Q3 of 2014, Thin Optics was launched as a new reading glasses technology that attaches to existing smart phones, allowing the 128 million people that need reading glasses to always have them at their finger tips. By Q4 of 2015, the retail distribution goal of over 20,000 retail store fronts will be realized.
M&D Sales and Marketing began working with Barbara Corcoran in 2009 during the first season of Shark Tank and successfully launched two of the those first year entrepreneur products into national retail accounts. That success has continued over the years as the shows popularity has grown and the entrepreneurs continue to engage M&D for their retail execution strategy based on current and past success. Among those successes was the first Shark Tank Entrepreneur devoted end-cap at retail with Target in 2014. In addition, successful placement was achieved on multiple product lines in Sam's, Target, Costco, CVS, Pet Smart, QVC, Safeway, Walmart, AAFES, and many more. Along with their unprecedented access to mass market retail channels, M&D also offers operational logistical support to these new Shark Tank entrepreneurs to ensure their success.
